Sammo Hung

Hong Kong dövüş sanatları filmlerindeki çalışmalarıyla tanınmaktadır.

Sammo Hung, 7 Ocak 1952 tarihinde Hong Kong’da doğmuştur. Asıl adı Hung Kam-bo’dur. Sammo Hung 1961 yılında 9 yaşındayken Çin Drama Akademisi, Hong Kong Pekin Opera Okuluna katıldı. Bu okulda Jackie Chan ve Yuen Biao ile yıllarca sürecek çocukluk arkadaşı oldu.

Sammo Hung, çocukluk arkadaşı olduğu Jackie Chan ve Yuen Biao ile beraber onlarca Kung Fu filmlerinde rol aldı.

Sammo Hung, 1966 yılında 14 yaşında iken bir filmde dublör olarak rol alabilmek için Hong Kong film endüstrisinde bağlantıları olan bir öğretmen tarafından seçildi. 16 yaşında akademiden ayrıldı. Hung, bir dublör olarak film sektöründe iş bulduktan sonra, tanınmış Çinli çizgi film karakteri Sam-mo'nun (Sanmao) adı ona verildi.

Sammo Hung, aynı zamanda Jackie Chan ve John Woo gibi yönetmenler için bir dizi dövüş sahnesinin koreografisini yapan bir dövüş sanatçısıdır. Sammo Hung, Hong Kong sinemasına katkısı nedeniyle, ‘Büyük, Büyük Kardeş’ veya Tüm Büyük Kardeşlerin en büyüğü ’anlamına gelen 'Da Goh Da' olarak anılır.
